René Rincón

Spanish Language Communications Consultant

René Rincón is an experienced communications consultant, author and freelance journalist. He assists KSC with Spanish-language media training presentations.


A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Rincón studied Audio for Media at the Center for the Media Arts in New York City. He then returned to Venezuela to begin a successful career in the media business.

Rincón’s extensive experience includes coverage of over 200 international events, such as the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 2006 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.


His experience as a public relations specialist began in 2005 when he served as a PR and image consultant for MLB All-Star Bobby Abreu, who then played for the Philadelphia Phillies. Rincón also worked in a similar capacity for NBA player Greivis Vásquez and PGA Tour golfer Jhonattan Vegas.


Rincón has authored two books — “Historias de Los Latinos de Los Phillies” featuring stories about Latino players and “Historias del Diamante” with stories about baseball from both MLB and the Caribbean League.


Rincón is also a bilingual specialist in translation and interpretation with experience as a simultaneous interpreter for television interviews. He is also a contributor to the newspaper, El Sol Latino and writes entertainment profiles and music reviews for Playboy.

He and his family reside in Flemington, N.J.
