Miriam Spradling

Communications Strategist & Media Coach

Miriam Spradling joined the KSC team in February 2024, bringing a versatile background in public relations, broadcast journalism, fundraising, and volunteer leadership. At KSC, she supports client engagements by helping prepare presentations and offering strategic communications guidance tailored to each client, audience and context.

Spradling’s recent work reflects her deep commitment to community impact. She serves on the underwriting committee for the Cattle Baron’s Ball — the largest single-night fundraiser for the American Cancer Society — which has raised over $105 million for cancer research. She also leads communications efforts for the Parent Council at The Day School at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, where she teaches Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Her volunteer service extends to Interfaith Family Services, UT Southwestern Medical Center, the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center, and the John S. Armstrong Elementary School PTA.

Earlier in her career, Spradling held communications and development roles with nationally recognized institutions including the George W. Bush Presidential Center, Stanford Law School, MD Anderson Cancer Center and ABC News. These experiences continue to inform her thoughtful approach to messaging and media coaching at KSC.

Spradling graduated with high honors from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011, earning a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with minors in business and sports journalism. Outside of work, she enjoys fellowship through the A Mother’s Heart Bible study and plays competitive tennis in USTA and Tennis Competitors of Dallas leagues. She and her husband, John, live in Dallas with their two young sons.
