In a career that has spanned the top levels of politics and corporate America, Ben Porritt has counseled and developed strategies for national campaigns both corporate and political. Porritt advised former Utah Governor and Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman during his 2012 presidential campaign and was a public face of the McCain-Palin campaign, serving as a national spokesman and senior advisor to the candidates during the 2008 presidential election.
Porritt is regarded by many political and corporate leaders as one of the nation’s top media experts and has advised and trained some of the biggest names in politics, sports and entertainment on media relations and how to deliver your message when it counts.
Since becoming affiliated with Kevin Sullivan Communications, Porritt has worked with companies and brands of varying sizes, advising them on corporate strategy ranging from corporate rollouts and brand development to crisis management, media relations and media coaching.
Porritt has advised corporate executives from TPG, Merrill Lynch, Sears and Disney and has advised athletes and executives from a number of pro sports organizations, including the Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers, New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons, MLB Network, and WWE. Major college clients have included the University of Illinois, Oklahoma, Marquette and East Carolina.
Porritt earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors of Science from Bradley University.
